This board has been extremely quiet. So let's talk about the weather. . We have been fortunate here in Lincoln. We've had lots of rain and wind these last two weeks but no tornadoes. They have however, been tearing across the state several nights this week.
That's been sending us to the basement at times. Hail as large as golf balls have hit a number of communitees as well. But there has been no loss of life nor serious injury for which we are extremely grateful.
My flower beds are all doing well. It looks like it will be a really good year for flowers. The peonies and iris's are just finishing blooming. My day lilies are beginning to bud. And the annuals are looking great. It's is supposed to be sunny Friday and Sat. so maybe I can get the windows washed.
My stitching is going well. Did a little review and found that I am over a third of the way through on this very large project. I am ahead of my schedule which is to finish it in two years. So far I have not found myself getting bored .
To Sue, I did some research too on the homing pigeon project but could come up with nothing.
Time to go eat breakfast and then I have to tackle my frig. It needs a good cleaning.

We haven't
had much rain, to speak of, but there are some storms heading our way. We did manage to dodge a couple today. But, there are more predicted for tonight and
tomorrow. AND the next six days. The garden is coming along great! the lettuce is all up, and the carrots and event the potatoes. The strawberries are in
full bloom, and it looks to be a nice crop this year.
