This board has been very quiet. Maybe everyone is out planting gardens. I just finished putting in all my summer plants. My alyssem which I usually grow really well is acting very sick. I'm afraid I'm going to have to replant it. But I don't know what it's problem is. It was very healthy when I bought it. Everything else is doing well. We finished one of our weekly Bible Studies last night for the summer so now I don't have to get the house in apple pie order every Monday (at least for the summer.) I did my Mother's Day Speech last Sat. at church and it went very well. Now it's keeping up on the women's challenge ( I'm trying to get into a regular habit of walking daily) and preparing for the four daughters when they come in July. They're coming to help us celebrate our 50th which was actually last December. Working on finding entertaining things they all like to do. Included in that will be the new International Quilt Museum (built just a mile from me) which houses over 4,000 quilts both old and contemporary. Also several lovely flower gardens within 60 miles of us. The guys will just have to find their own entertainment.
Stitching has slowed down some. But I still try to get in two hours in early morning before I tackle the day's activities.
What are you all doing this month?
Have a great week.
Fern
