I haven't posted for a long time although I have been following you all. I'll try a quick update. We went to Florida for Easter, spent a week with DD#3 and her family. Thoroughly enjoyed our little 6 year old GD. Went to a beach for the weekend with her and she loved the ocean. We drove down and visited other family along the way in Texas and back up in Illinois.
Beginning of May I put in my annual 500 plus annuals. God is good. The arthritis has been really bad but during that planting time the barometer went up and my pains decreased considerably. The flower beds are looking great.
The last two weeks I've been working really hard at deep cleaning my house since I'm still pretty pain free. Amazing how many dust kitties hide behind the refrigerator, behind the beds, and many other places. But that job is just about all done too.
So it's on to my 60th high school reunion this coming weekend in Minnesota, also my family reunion there the same weekend. August 1rst a wedding in Atlanta of a granddaughter ( so another trip) and hopefully at the end of September beginning of October a trip East to see our daughter with the 16 kids, (by that time there will also be three greatgrandkids there) and a few days up into New England to enjoy the fall leaves.
That plus church committee work will keep me busy the next few months.
Stitching: I've been keeping at it and this huge piece is coming to and end I hope by the end of June. My goal is to finish it then. It has meant about 400 stitches a day since Christmas but I have managed to keep that up. Then I will go back to a simple MB ( at least they seem so after this huge piece).
Have a great week everyone.
Fern
