We have finally found out what is wrong with my oldest daughter Rebecca's wrist. She has Ulnar Impaction Syndrome. Which basically means that one of her two left arm bones is longer than the other. She will have surgery Monday April 13 at noon. They hope to shave the longer bone down to size but the doctor thinks that he may have to cut a plug out of the bone to shorten it enough. Its her left arm and of course she is left handed. It has to be done because the small bones of her hands are rubbing against the too-long bone. The doctor expects a full recovery within 6 months to a year but she will be able to write and draw(with a cast) soon after surgery. She is very nervous about this(as am I) Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers
