Hello Everyone------Yesterday I heard from Fern, and she needs our prayers right now. She is having some heart problems for which she may need surgery. She
will probably be cancelling their Alaskan cruise, but I'm sure they will be taking it at a later date. So please take a few moments out of your busy day,
and say a prayer for our good friend. Helen

Hello ladies,
Thank you all of you for your best wishes and prayers. God is very gracious. I spent the day yesterday in the hospital having an assortment of tests and the result was this. I had one major artery pretty blocked ( they were able to put in a stent to open it up) and a leaking mitral valve. They determined that the leak was not severe enough to require surgery and perhaps it never would. So I woke up this morning at 4:00 feeling better than I have in years when I awaken. For those of you who have medical knowledge, the cardiologist told me this morning that the PVC's my heart still continues to throw off in abundance are something I have probably had for years and not to worry about them. I have a brother who has that problem also. Monday a week ago was the first time I had met the cardiologist and he is just the best. We had told him about our trip and this morning when he came into my room he told me he could see no reason why we could no make it. Just to be careful and not overdo. Bless him. And again my grateful thanks to all of you for your concern and prayers. God is good. I know it is His way of telling me it's time to slow down but He was good enough to give me symptoms that sent me to the Dr. and saved me from a major heart attack. Love to all, Fern |

It's so good to read your mail and to hear what happened. Happy, that with the hand of G-d and medical knowledge today they could help you! Feeling better today is a gift, only when we don't feel well, we understand it all so much better, that life is a gift.
