We've got two birthdays coming up - Brenda Strome's b'day is July 29 (she's in Canada) and Anne Hallas' b'day is August 2 (she's in the UK!!) So, let's get our cards & flossies ready & on the way. How was everyone's 4th? Mine was quiet - we had our BBQ on the 5th. Glad that Stephanie is doing so much better - she really is a great photographer & designer. Peggy

(We've had a lot of rain here!) I haven't actually opened it yet - I like to wait for the 'big day' itself! Hope everyone is well and having more summer than us! Anne.

I will send you a replacement... Our Postal system certainly leaves a LOT to be desired! I mailed yours and Brenda's at the same time, due to the fact I would be out of town, and figured as slow as the mail is anyway, might as well mail early. I have no idea what happened to it, as I took it to the Post Office in person, and had them hand stamp it too. I doubt if the contents are going to be usable now that it is wet I hope the replacement comes in better shape, and please, do let me know, OK? Thanks, and again, I am terribly sorry! I have had a lovely time this morning opening them all, from Fenny, Peggy, Karin, and Mandy, they are all special and I'm looking forward to stitching something with all the threads - I'm keeping my eyes open for a suitable sampler chart - and will let you know when I can decide! It was a nice surprise to receive them. The card has one my favourite plants - the thistle - on the front and the threads are sure to work well on my sampler when I decide which to do! According to my list, it looks like Fenny will be next?
