Hi Ladies------I am still down here in Florida on dial-up and I am having alot of trouble both getting into my laptop and posting. All of a sudden I was let
in, so I'll post and not question my good luck. I have found several cross stitchers here in The Villages, but none who are doing MBs. Lots of
knitters, needlepointers, and quilters. I have been working on a UFO from several years ago - Sunlit Stroll - and have put in some 3,000 stitches.
DH would like to move here.......I don't. But we can't stay where we are in NJ too much longer.......to expensive to live there. But I don't want the FL heat in the summer. Winter here is great, but I think I would be miserable the other 6 months....not to mention missing my children and grandchildren. I've missed the board and all of you. Happy stitching. Helen |

Hi Helen.
Enjoying the spring in Florida? Saw the picture you're stitching, it's gorgeous. How big is it? As for the hot summer, no, it's not easy to have the 6 or 7 months of heat, inside with the AC, it's allright, but to get out is a different story!! |

Hi Fenny and Sue----Sunlit Stroll is 14 x 11, but I am doing it on 16 count, so it will be just a bit smaller. It's coming out really nice, and it's
fun to do.....some confetti stitching, but also some big blocks of color, so I am not bored, nor does it get tedious. There are alot of French knots to add to
the variety. (And I LOVE FK's.)
We are not having the greatest weather here in central FL. It has been rainey at times, and very windy. Today is sunny, but very breezy, and the wind is cool. I need slacks on, and at least short sleeves, nothing sleevless today. My DD and DSIL arrived last Thursday for one week, and we will try to go to EPCOT tomorrow. I have not been there in quite a few years, so I hope I'll get to see some new things. I understand that alot of the old stuff is gone now, and I'm sure I will miss it. It was a great place to visit in the past. Happy stitching everyone. Helen |

Fenny-----EPCOT stands for Experimental Propotype Community of Tomorrow. It is one of the components of Disney World. It features many exhibits of different
countries, their products, foods, rides, etc., the most interesting part of the whole of Disney, in my humble opinion. Also, many industries have their
products featured there....as I remember, anyway, Exxon, GE, GM, Kraft. I have no idea if they are still there or not. I know alot has changed in the 13
years since we've been there. Helen
