Hi, all! Rebecca is doing very good. She wrote me a note night before last and the handwriting was beautiful! She started drawing again today. We have a check up coming soon(as soon as the nurse calls me back) and I will let you know whats going on.

Alice you are right about that.

Fenny, Rebecca is still in a lot of pain and the Dr said it may be a couple of more weeks before she can write! She has a nasty heat rash from the cast but the incision looks really good. Hopefully she will return to school Monday.

Hey Mia, I hope Rebecca keeps improving! I am sure she isn't the only poor patient on the planet. I hardly know anyone who can be cheerful when in pain. And you know, she will reserve her worst behaviour for you because she feels safe that you will love her anyway.

I'm hoping that the Dr will give her an attitude adjustment pill! No, seriously, Rebecca is doing very well but the pain and the meds do make for a very grouchy young lady. We are hoping that the Dr will give her a smaller wrapping because she is finding it difficult to draw or write with the one she has now. She is a super girl and I'm very proud of her!

Hi, Sue. Rebecca took two of the percocets because the dr had told me that she could if she was in a lot of pain. They made her very dizzy and unhappy! I told her to cut back to one and to just try to take it easy. Her check-up is Wednesday so I'll let you know what the dr says.

Hi Mia, tell Rebecca that the Dr. wouldn't have given her them if he didn't think she needed them.. I bet she really hurts now.. Taken as directed, she will be fine.. Tell her the meds are there to help her heal.. Hang in there, I hope she is feeling better soon ...
