Spring is here too, but it's getting here to the summer, so lots of plants don't really like the heat and the hot sun

Hello, Ladies, How is everyone doing? My dafodils are almost done, but the Tulips are out in full force!
I keep the local Seniors in fresh flowers, and they sure enjoy them. ! My Magnolia trees are budding nice, and look like they are going to be spectacular this year. No stitching right now, too busy with the garden, flowers, and walking. Hope everyone else is in good health, Happy Stitching, SueS

Hi Fenny, my husband's mother used to say that too, but she wasn't a nurse. He laughed when I asked him, and he said it was a common phrase when he was growing up!

I hope Helen joins us, she still has time. We start on Sunday, and Fenny, stitching is the only thing that doesn't count as steps!

Well, you all have been quite busy in the garden, it hasn't rained here for more than a month, so for us it's just weeding and still have to buy some plants, who like the heat and the sun and that's Lavendel plants, they adore the sun.and heat.

Helen is it just us nurses, who give a lick and a promise?

Sue--What website are you talking about? I think I missed something here....maybe when I was in FL. Something about steps or exercise?

About my windows - I cheat. I was having late afternoon company last Sunday, and the setting sun comes into the family room late afternoon. The winter grime on the windows was terrible, so all I did were the bottoms of my 4 front windows from the porch on the outside. That made it all look good from inside the house.....it's called a lick...

So good to hear from you. Spring seems to be the same by us, the flowering pears were so wonderful as they are every year, and the crab apples are just starting to wain. The dogwoods are out in full bloom, everyone's grass is so green, and I am watching our new rhododenrons carefully.......some buds look ready to burst.

I would have posted this in the general forum but no one seems to be using that when I check it. So you will get a lot of other stuff in this post.
The Bradford Pears were absolutely gorgeous this year. Our city has them along all the major streets and avenues. They are now greening out and the crabapple trees are in full bloom. We are still jumping from hi to low temps and back up again. I've gotten some of my flower beds...
